A= x² + 2x + 1 - ( x² - 2x + 1) A= x² + 2x + 1 - x² + 2x -1 A= 4x 1001² - 999² = (1000+1)² - (1000-1)² S'identifie à (x+1)²-(x-1)². D'où x=1000 alors A= 4 × 1000
