Lorsque les pronoms  comme : I, you, he, she, it, we, they, sont les sujets de la phrase active on omet la plupart du temps le complément d'agent dans la phrase passive.

a) they asked the children to be quiet.

                   The children were asked to be quiet

b) they spoke english in the office.

                       English was spoken in the office

c) we saw her in a taxi.

                        She was seen in a taxi

le sujet de la voix active devient en général complément d'agent introduit par "by" lorsqu'il apporte une information essentielle, ce qui n'est pas le cas ici.

Le COD de la voix active devient sujet au passif

pas de COD, pas de voix passive possible.

le sujet subit donc l'action.

il faut conjuguer be au temps de la voix active, puis lui ajuté le participe passé de la voix active.

Ici tous les verbes de la voix active sont au prétérit simple. Donc be deviendra "was" ou "were" selon le sujet + participe passé du verbe

exemples

the cat eats a mouse  >> a mouse is eaten by a cat

the cat is eating a mouse >> a mouse is being eaten by a cat

the cat ate a mouse >> a mouse was eaten by a cat

the cat will eat a mouse >> a mouse will be eaten by a cat

etc....

rappelle toi simplement que c'est be qui doit être conjugué....ensuite tu ajoutes systématiquement le participe passé du verbe.
